Silent Portrait Drawing
The idea of silent portraits developed slowly in the last year. I came to realize that visual information often clashes with verbal communication.
Much like the word BLUE:
even if it communicates the color blue, I will always look at it as a red blob that stands out from an otherwise black text.
In these portrait sessions, I ask the sitters to use as few words as possible, and allow for quiet space, for us to be in the same room together.
Most people have described the experience as: “meditative”, “taking a break from routine”, “it’s so nice to just be here”.
Book here a 30 min session at my studio, in Oslo.
